While Denver isn’t located on a major fault line, minor earthquakes do occur periodically, though typically of low magnitude; seismic design protocols must be followed. We must refer to these important environmental information – wind force, snowfall, temperature extremes, and potential for minor seismic activity – as the first step of construction.
